Safety Data Sheets

The Safety Data Sheet (SDS) is a comprehensive document for chemical safety data, including chemical compositions, physical and chemical parameters, explosive properties, toxicity, environmental hazards, safe use, storage conditions, emergency handling, regulatory requirements, etc.

We create SDS in accordance with the latest legal requirements in 40 language combinations, taking into account country-specific regulations.

As a result of our service, our international team of experts provides our customer with a professionally correct SDS that complies with the applicable regulations (REACH, GHS, CLP, etc.).

PCN

Poison Center Notification

The PCN format aims to harmonise and ensure consistency of the information available to poison centres in cases of poisoning incidents in the EU.

Manufacturers, importers and downstream users are obliged to notify chemical products that are classified as physically hazardous and health hazardous to the poison information centers. The notification procedure is harmonized and is based on Annex VIII of the CLP Regulation.

The information to be submitted includes the full chemical composition and relevant product details including the intended use (EuPCS), in addition to the label elements such as the unique formula identifier (UFI). With our experience, we consult you on which products need to be notified and complete the notification for you.

Labelling

According to the GHS requirements, the label is a defined document for hazard communication. The information given by the label have to be in line with those given in the safety data sheet.

Additional label elements regulated by further relevant European or national legislation will be considered and given on the label. The label shall be written in the official language(s) of the member state(s) where the substance or mixture is placed on the market, unless the member state(s) concerned provide(s) otherwise.

After the preparation of the safety data sheets, all information for the hazard communication label are present and can be provided as an XML-data set. Furthermore, design and layout requirements (CI) of customers are considered. We have many years of experience in creating labels for hazardous products and are pleased to consult and support you in this regard.
